Our sponsoring institution, Adams State College (ASC), of Alamosa, Colorado, a four-year regionally accredited liberal arts college, provides academic recognition for leadership programs nation-wide. Students participating in USAC Summer and year-round leadership programs are provided lower-level undergraduate college credit recognition. The cost is $60.00/credit. Currently, there are no additional ASC fees, and transcripts are available upon student request through ASC at this transcript link.

Your ASC instructor of record for these courses is Dr. Ray Striler. Dr. Striler will grade your end of course paper(s) against a rubric provided on the course detail page. Students will submit their papers for their end of course grade to this email address, . Students must identify their participation dates, and which program they participated in for the course credit. This information, provided in the cover email message must provide a USAC Cadre point of contact, his/her email address, and a good telephone number to verify the student’s participation if required.

High School Students can only register three times a year for these credits and must be 16 years old on the date of registration:

December 1 – January 31 for credits earned during the Fall Semester

May 1 – June 30 for credits earned during their Spring Semester

August 1 – September 30 for credits earned during their Summer Semester
